A view of El Misti (5822m) from the hotel bedroom window. Every now and again you could see a puff of smoke on the top of it. Its not actually classed as active anymore. I did think about having a go at climbing it when we first arrived in Arequipa but after the bike ride and getting a taste of what altitute can do for you I decided that it wasn't one of my better ideas. |
