Well this is the main Plaza in Cusco, Plaza de Armas. Cusco was/is the Inca capital and was founded around 1100AD. The plaza is now very commercial and anyone who goes there will no doubt spend a lot of time fending of the locals who seem intent on getting you into their bar or restaurant. I have to say however that sitting on the balcony in one of the establishments with a drink in hand is a very nice experience :) |
